Plant Native Trees is an educational campaign aimed at raising awareness among secondary school students about the importance of planting and preserving native trees. It highlights how these trees support biodiversity, prevent soil erosion, and combat climate change, while encouraging a stronger connection to local ecosystems.
Teachers will receive a booklet filled with key facts, environmental benefits, and practical planting tips. Students will also get hands-on experience through visits to one of HomeTree’s designated planting sites. To continue their engagement, each student will receive a seed pack to plant at home or in their community.
To increase visibility and public engagement, billboards and adshells will be rolled out across targeted locations, expanding the reach of the campaign beyond the classroom.
